Terms and Conditions of Gym Membership – Space Gyms
1. Vendor Information
These Terms and Conditions apply to the sale of gym memberships by Space Gyms (Gym Management Solutions Ireland Ltd), located at Unit C, Airside Enterprise Centre, Swords, Co. Dublin, Ireland (“the Vendor”). Members are advised to review these Terms carefully before joining, as they govern the relationship between Space Gyms and the member (referred to as “the Member” or “the Buyer”).
2. Membership Contract
By signing up for a membership, the Member confirms they are at least 18 years old (or have parental consent if under 18) and agree to these Terms. Memberships are activated upon confirmation of payment and are non-transferable.
3. Membership Fees and Payment
Membership fees are displayed on the Space Gyms website and include VAT. Payments can be made monthly or annually, and the membership term renews automatically unless cancelled. Payment options include direct debit, credit card, or an authorised third-party provider. Any changes in fees will be communicated with 30 days’ notice and will apply to the next billing cycle.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
Members may cancel their membership within 14 days of purchase (the “cooling-off period”) for a full refund if they have not yet used the facility. After this period, cancellations can be made with 60 days ’ notice before the next billing date. Refunds for unused membership time after the cooling-off period are not available. 5. Membership Suspension
Memberships may be paused for medical reasons or in the case of temporary relocation, with documentation provided, for a maximum of three months in a 12-month period. Suspension requests should be sent to [email protected] and will be confirmed by Space Gyms in writing.
6. Facility Access and Conduct
Members gain access to the gym facilities during operating hours and are expected to follow all posted rules, health, and safety protocols. Misconduct, such as inappropriate behavior or misuse of equipment, may result in membership termination without a refund.
7. Liability and Health Disclaimer
Members acknowledge that gym activities involve physical exertion and assume responsibility for their own health and fitness. Space Gyms is not liable for injuries sustained on the premises due to misuse of equipment or failure to follow staff instructions. Members are encouraged to consult with a physician before beginning any new fitness regimen.
8. Privacy and Communications
Personal information collected for membership purposes will be managed in accordance with Space Gyms’ privacy policy. By joining, Members consent to receive communications regarding their membership and any updates or promotional offers from Space Gyms.
